Dean R Spindler August 3, 2021

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. A great guy to work with during his mining days. I would go there and do my work and sometimes would bring my son. He would show drive him around with a guided tour. Don't know who had more fun Jim or my son.

So sorry to hear the passing of Jim. He was one of the GREATEST. Always smiling and always positive. He will be missed by all. Deepest sympathy for his wife and family.

Very saddened to learn of Jim's passing. He was a true gentleman. I enjoyed the many conversations we had while working at Metamora Industries and phone conversations since our retirements. I will truly miss the times we had together. Roger Stranz

I was filled with great sadness when coach Bauman called me with news of Jim's passing. Jim was one of those really exceptional people -- a great athlete, a scholar and a true gentleman. My condolences to the Grimm family and the Mineral Point wrestling community -- Mike Medchill

To the Grimm family. He is respected and inspired so many to perform above their abilities. So many young athletes and people heard the Bauman/Bingham speeches of him. The room would grow quiet and and a strength pervaded the wrestling stage at MPHS.

Sorry for your loss. Jim was an extremely nice man. Always enjoyed seeing him and sending him pictures of the turkey on the property. So glad he got to hunt one last year with you Joe. May he Rest In Peace.
