Carolyn, I send my condolences to you and your family. My heart was heavy when I heard of your loss! Bob was such a good friend to my dad (Jim Owens). I remember when Bob and some other troopers would stop by the house when I was a little girl. Bob was so kind and I loved his smile and the kindness he brought into our home. Dad would light up when he was going to visit with Bob post retirement and later in life years, and you could tell he loved his time visiting and spending his time outdoors with Bob or just having a few cups of coffee. From my eyes and from hearing my dad’s stories, Bob was one of the best State Policeman and friend to our family. I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family during this time.

Carolyn and the entire family. We are so sorry for your loss. Bob was a good man, who loved his outdoor time! I spent many days deer hunting with Bob and had many good times at the Buckbrush, with him ! He will be missed by many.
I was so saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. I’ll never forget that Millie’s new home in Cuba was one of the first ‘whole house’ jobs we sold as the new kid on the block...Crawford’s Fashion Floors. From that transaction, Bob became a good friend and a loyal and valued customer. I wish that Bob and I could’ve been a bit ‘closer’ earlier in our careers.....I think we would have been besties! Blessings to you as you navigate this huge loss.
What a great guy Bob was. A great law enforcement officer and an awesome coworker. Listen for the Whispers of God as you all grieve as well as heal. Bob is whole again ...let that bring All of you comfort

may the precious memories sustain you.
This just came across my computer at work at my Law Firm all the way here in Chesapeake, Virginia. I fondly remember Bob from being friends with Tina. During one Summer, he was our Softball Coach. He was a great gentleman, fantastic father and dedicated Law Enforcement Officer. My heart goes out to Tina, and the family. Crying as I write this. RIP Bob - job well done.
